2018 Blackjack Chortle’s Edge Shiraz

2018 Blackjack Chortle’s Edge Shiraz

Tasting Note:
Again, true to form. Soft, and generous Shiraz flavours
The aroma is redolent with plum and cherry, plum and all
spice, nutmeg as well.
All flows through to a full flavoured , yet soft palate.
A delightful Monday to Thursday wine that over delivers

  • Campbell Mattinon Wine Front:

Blackjack keeps it real. In a good way. It’s old school bang-for-buck, served fresh. Vanilla, blackberry, a good drench of plum, licorice and a sweet ripeness throughout. It hasn’t been overcooked but it’s textural, rich and satisfying. If you like a bit of oomph to your reds, this wine delivers it at an excellent price. 92 points

  • Huon Hooke The Real Review

Deepish red colour with a tint of purple. The aromas are plummy, raspberry, earthy and forward, with a touch of mellowness. The wine is lean and bony, savoury and of moderate intensity. The line is a bit uneven. A pretty fair wine at the price
