2019 Blackjack Cabernet Merlot

Bright ruby red in colour. Red currants, bramble on the nose, mint and herbs. Medium weight palate, Ripe, juicy fruit flavours. Red berry fruits predominate on the palate, against a supportive background of fine, firm tannins. Balanced and lingering finish

Try with rosemary infused and garlic slow cooked lamb shoulder.

Suggested cellaring: 4-10 years

2019 Blackjack Block 6 Shiraz

Crimson red colour. Clean and defined fresh summer berry aromas on the nose. Spice as well.

Palate is crisp, highlighting a core nucleus of dark berry fruits and plum; liquorice and star anise. A savouriness adds complexity and depth. Fine grape and French oak tannins adds structure augmenting an elegant finish.

Delicious with a classic veal Osso Bucco

Suggested cellaring: 4-10 years

2019 Blackjack Shiraz

Brick red in colour. Aromas or plums and blackberry, spice as well. Full and generous on the palate with sweet plum and dark berries, roasted nut flavours against a background of creamy American oak tannins.

Bottle age will allow these flavours to coalesce further to add nuance and complexity.

Perfect with rare barbecued fillet steak with a red wine sauce.

Suggested Cellaring 4-10 years

2019 Blackjack Mr Ramoy

The second release of this wine. A blend if the whole vineyard, so it is a Shiraz Cabernet, fermented and aged in 100 percent new French oak.

Nuanced summer dark berry and plum aromas. Sweet spice, boysenberry, mulberry blended with a subtle dustiness and an array of fine grained tannins on the palate. Elegant and refined.

A wine of depth and complexity

Suggested Cellaring: 4-12 years

2019 Blackjack Chortle’s Edge Shiraz

Again, true to form. Soft, and generous Shiraz flavours. The aroma is redolent with plum and dark berries, spice and nutmeg as well. All flows through to a full flavoured, creamy and soft palate.

A delightful Monday to Thursday wine that over delivers.

Suggested Cellaring: 2-4 years

2020 Blackjack “Rosa”

Made from estate grown Cabernet grapes. Bright pink-crimson colour. Vibrant, with strawberry/ cranberry nose, and spice. Full, yet crisp on the palate. Plenty of fruit as well. Good palate weight, mouthfeel, and a lingering finish. Perfect with crispy skin salmon.
