Fermented in traditional open fermenters, hand plunged, and aged in small French oak barriques for 22 months.
Crimson red colour. Clean and defined plum and dark berry aromas on the nose. Spice and liquorice as well.
The palate full and generous, dark berry and plum, cinnamon, and spice. A savouriness adds complexity and depth.
Fine grape and French oak tannins add backbone to an extended and elegant finish.
Delicious with a classic veal Osso Bucco.
